About Dr Lewis

Dr David Lewis, BSc (Hons), D.Phil., FISMA. FINSTD, is a Chartered Psychologist, a Fellow of the International Stress Management Association and President of Stresswatch Scotland (www.stresswatchscotland.org) a registered charity, which for more than three decades has been helping stress and anxiety sufferers.

David’s many best-selling self-help books include One Minute Stress Management, Ten-Minute Time & Stress Management, Information Overload – Practical Strategies for Surviving In Today’s Workplace, Fight Your Phobia and Win, Helping Your Anxious Child and Helping Your Child Through School.  

After obtaining a First Class Honours degree from the University of Westminster, he undertook post-graduate research into stress and anxiety at the University of Sussex where he obtained his doctorate and later lectured in clinical psychology and psychopathology. Later, based on his clinical and research experiences, he helped set-up Stresswatch Scotland, a registered charity, which is still flourishing. 

In 2005 he helped set-up Mindlab International, an independent research organisation based at the University of Sussex. A Sony award winning broadcaster, David travels extensively lecturing on topics relating to the role of neuroscience in business and personal success.
